| DESCRIPTION: |
|
| The Diedrich heavy duty remote carrier is a
rubber track designed to carry the Diedrich D-120/D-90 drill rig.
The track carrier uses the latest technology |
|
| resulting in a carrier with low maintenance
and high reliability. The carrier is designed to traverse mud, snow.
sand, steep slopes, uneven ground and wooded |
|
| areas. |

|
| CARRIER |
|
| The drill rig engine drives two heavy duty
hydrostatic pumps which power the individual track motors with
planetary drives. The track carrier is regulated |
|
| to 2.0 mph in low range and 5.0 mph in high
range. |
|
| Tracks are 24" wide heavily reinforced rubber
tracks. |
|
| Steering is hydrostatic skid steer with zero
turning radius. |
|
| A totally enclosed spring applied,
hydraulically released multi-disk parking brake is provided. |
|
| The hydraulic system for the drill rig
operation is completely disabled for safety while the carrier drive
is in operation. When the drill rig is being used for |
|
| drilling, the hydrostatic drive is completely
disabled. |
|
| Ground contact pressure less tools is 4.0 to
5.2 psi. * |
|
| The unit will negotiate a 75% grade with the
125HP engine. * |

|
| CARRIER BODY |
|
| The carrier body is constructed from
structural steel members and 1/8" safety tread deck plate. |
|
| One tool box is provided on the right side of
the carrier. Two toolboxes and a 5FT rod rack are provided on the
left side of the carrier. |
|
| An auger storage area is furnished at the
front of the carrier. |
|
| Fenders are provided over and on the inside
of the tracks. |
|
| Optional rod storage and additional toolboxes
and/or auger racks are available. |

| OPTIONAL CARRIER WINCH |
|
| A 30,000lb carrier winch is furnished
including wire rope and roller guides which allow for winching the
carrier in either a forward or reverse direction. |
