 HEAVY DUTY TRACK SYSTEM

Diedrich Drill is pleased to announce a new heavy duty rubber belt track system for use with the D-50 Drill. The market demand for more power, tool handling, and storage features prompted us to develop a new system that is rated to 24,000# capacity. We increased the track width to 24" to further reduce ground pressure and used a more aggressive lug pattern to increase traction. We incorporated a two-speed drive system that provides extra power in the low range and speeds of 4.5 mph in the high range. This is one tough durable track system.

   NEW STYLE AUTOMATIC SPT HAMMER

We have reengineered our hydraulic auto hammer to reduce the number of moving parts and to make it more maintenance free. The new hammer continues to operate on the same principle as the old one. The Diedrich auto hammer meets the strict definition of ASTM Standard D-1586. To reduce the moving parts, we use just one lifting dog. We built the lifting rack into the wieght slug itself, eliminating another part. The drive mechanism is easily removeable(just four bolts) for inspection, adjustment, or repair. The hammer fits the same gate mounting system so it can easily replace your existing hammers when their useful life is over. The new style hammer can be fitted with the back pounding feature as well (except when the side-cylinder mounting feature is utilized). It is available in combinations of weight sizes and can be side-cylinder mounted.

 ROTARY BOX SEALS NOW EASIER TO REPLACE

Through some thoughtful engineering, we have developed a design whereby all seals in the Diedrich Drill rotary boxes can be changed without breaking the box apart. The change we have implemented affects the lower spindle seal. By changing the way we attach the mounting plate to the bottom of the spindle, we now can slide the lower spindle seal over the spindle to the seal's running postion. We also offer a Speedi-sleeve to replace the seal wear surface on the bronze quill when wear becomes excessive. This allows the quill to be run to the maximum utilization possible. The redesigned spindle fits in all existing rotary boxes. During your next rotary box rework, consider installing the newly designed spindle. Another innovation from Diedrich to make your job easier.
